Troon Chess Club was founded in 1976.
Troon is affiliated to Chess Scotland and has two teams playing in the Ayrshire League.
Office bearers are elected annualy. New office bearers for the 2010/11 season were elected at the AGM on --/05/2010 and are as follows:
